Chris has acted as Musical Director, Orchestrator and Dance Arranger on numerous productions across the UK and USA, West End and Broadway including: Me and My Girl (London and Broadway); Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London and Broadway); Ragtime (London); My Fair Lady (National Theatre and Cameron Macintosh); The Secret Garden (RSC); Acorn Antiques The Musical (London); Maria Friedman Rearranged (London) and Imagine This (London).
Other credits include: Musical Supervisor for Stage Entertainment’s Production of Der Schuh des Manitu (Berlin); orchestrations for Hannah Waddingham Live (Menier Chocolate Factory); orchestrations for Sweet Charity (Menier Chocolate Factory production and transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket); orchestrations for Into the Woods (Open Air Theatre, Regents Park); orchestrations for Lend Me a Tenor (Theatre Royal Plymouth). Chris is currently orchestrating a new production of Me and My Girl (Crucible Theatre Sheffield).
Chris has also worked extensively for TV and film and has produced numerous cast recordings.
Despite a busy schedule, he has also composed the music for Ray Cooney’s new show Twice In A Lifetime, as well as a number of his own original projects. In addition, he is working with Robert Sherman Junior on the score of an animated film and has orchestrated and co-produced a new album entitled Bush Tales.
