Lucy SimonLucy Simon made her Broadway debut in 1991 as the composer of The Secret Garden for which she received Tony and Drama Desk nominations, The Drama Loge Award, and a Grammy nomination for the recording of the score. She is delighted to be joining forces with the Festival Theatre Edinburgh and Mirvish Productions for this new and imaginative production of The Secret Garden with Anna Linstrum at the helm.

Lucy is currently preparing for the world premier of her new musical, Doctor Zhivago to be produced in Sydney Australia in February 2011 as a coproduction with the Sydney Opera House.

Lucy also wrote and produced the songs and soundtrack for the multi-award winning HBO movie The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader Murdering Mom, and the soundtrack for the feature film A Simple Wish.  She received two Grammy Awards for her In Harmony albums, which she co-wrote and produced. Simon began her professional career at age 16 with her sister Carly as part of The Simon Sisters.
