We would like to thank the following organisations for their kind support of
The Secret Garden musical:
The Secret Flower Garden
The Secret Flower Garden will be helping to bring some of the magic from the stage to the rest of the Festival Theatre this Christmas by creating a special garden theme in our bars and foyer. Hidden from view at its secluded location in Edinburgh, The Secret Flower Garden specialises in fresh, bespoke flower arranging for special events, weddings, corporate functions, funerals, contract vases and bouquets, hand selected by our floral designer.
The Secret Flower Garden are offering free delivery for orders of £30 in December. Visit www.secretflowergarden.co.uk or call 0131 249 7528/ 07936 716 784.
We are delighted that Paterson’s are sponsoring The Secret Garden. They will be giving away free samples of their delicious new snacks – Orang-u-tangys during the first week of the run. Paterson’s Orang-u-tangys are a fun children`s shortbread snack packed with real fruit flavour and tangy orange pieces. With three different orangutan shaped bites and a quirky leaf shape, these new snacks are big on taste with only 113 calories per 25g bag. They are free from artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives and not only that, but they are better for the environment as they are palm oil free! Warm thanks go to John Lewis who kindly donated Christmas trees and decorations for our foyers in support of our 3 great children’s Chosen Charities, who will be hosting special events during the run of The Secret Garden.
The Secret Garden Book Project
In August 2010 the Festival Theatre launched an exciting new education project to coincide with The Secret Garden musical. 10,000 free copies of the Penguin Classics edition of the novel were printed and distributed to every Primary 7 class in Edinburgh and the Lothians, along with detailed online learning resources. Using The Secret Garden novel as a source material, the project provides opportunities for study across the Curriculum for Excellence including Languages and Literacy, Sciences, Social Studies, Religious and Moral Education and the Expressive Arts. This project was made possible by the kind support of Cruden Foundation Ltd. and The Binks Trust, with a special thanks going to Carolyn Smith at Penguin Books.

We would also like to thank Miller Group Ltd. for their support of the Schools Coach Fund, and David Flockhart for all his design work.
